Here are some of my accomplishments(aka moments I'm proud of):
1. I have climbed a 14er. My mom and I went with a group from our church and we dominated that mountain. It was one of the hardest things I've done, physically, and I promised myself I wouldn't do it again but I'm glad I did it at least once! I pushed myself and I finished strong! Woo!
2. I once had a painting in an art gallery. Yeah, it was just a little art studio/gallery in Old Town Arvada but to me, it was a huge accomplishment! I never dreamed that would happen!
3. In high school I graduated with honors. When I was a freshman in high school I was approached and was asked to be in the National Honors Society and I said yes! I had to write some essays and keep up certain grades and when I graduated I was recognized with honors! I felt awesome!
4. This one is kind of personal but worth sharing! I waited until marriage to have sex(so did my husband btw). People these days think it's impossible and nobody believes there's people like me any more but there are! There's tons of us! And because I waited I have been blessed and have had a great marriage and sex life and it is one of the most beautiful ways my husband and I can express love for each other. It was TOTALLY worth the wait!
5. I feel like going to the Fire in the Night internship at IHOP was an accomplishment! I went the next fall after I graduated high school and it was a life changing experience for sure! It really established my walk with the Lord and helped me mature spiritually! I found Jesus for myself and He rocked me to the core in those 6 months! That time was a great spiritual accomplishment for me!

Sometimes when I don't know what to write for the challenge, I come here to try to get inspired... but my accomplishments are so different! I've never even tried or thought about climbing a 14er!!! hahah :)
ReplyDeleteErika, that's sweet that you come here! The challenge is really fun! Are you doing it? I'd like to read your entries for sure!
DeleteThe 14er was very hard! I never thought about it but a whole bunch of people from our church put it together so I just said "Eh, what the heck!" Lol
