Day 29: What do you think people misunderstand the most about you?
I think most people misunderstand......um, my whole life. It's pretty easy to misunderstand when all you hear about me is what is on Facebook. Everyone's life seems perfect and we all look like we have everything together but, TRUST ME when I say that my life is far from put together! I get really frustrated about a lot of things,I have bad attitudes regularly, sometimes I want to smack my clients in the face, I almost feel like crying out of frustration and anger on a weekly basis, sometimes I have major PMS and I am mean to my husband, I bum out that my life isn't the way I want it(but the grass is always greener on the other side right?), I get stressed about finances, I feel disappointed in my walk with the Lord and feel I should be further along in that, and so much more...like seriously! My husband and I don't have it all together and we don't always get along. I'm not a perfect person who has a perfect background and neither does my family. We're all pretty jacked up actually. We've even had to do family counseling at one point. With all that to say, even though my life isn't perfect and I struggle with A LOT of things, I can say that I am blessed! Though I have weak moments on a daily basis, I see that all that all the Lord has done in me and given me is a blessing! Every good thing is from Him! Yes, I do wish that myself and my life were different sometimes but I am thankful for what I have and where the Lord has me. I know that I have a lot of areas to grow in, which is good in my book, because it gives me the chance to lean on Jesus and allow Him to shape and mold me to look like Him! That's my goal!
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
What do most people misunderstand about you?
