Day 1 of Unemployment

     I am surprisingly excited that I don't have job. Now don't get me wrong, I am looking for a job and I am praying that the Lord will provide a good one but, for the time being, I will take advantage of not having to work. I guess what I'm most excited about is all the possibilities of having open days! I feel more comfortable day dreaming about what I want to do knowing that we can pay the bills with my husbands income. This free time gives me a chance to really dig deep and think about what it is that I enjoy and what it is that I want to become. I can ask myself, "what can I make that I can sell and make money?" Those are the kind of questions I would ask myself as a kid but then real life happens and I have bills to pay so, I had to make money any way that I could and that meant.....a regular job. So now that my days are free, I can ask those questions again and I'm having fun doing it! 

     I am also trying be really intentional about this time as well! Now that I don't have a job, it's easy to just do whatever I want and wast time but I have decided to give myself a schedule. I still don't have it set in stone but so far today, I have been at my computer working away! What that means is researching for my photography "business," contacting clients, applying for jobs, working on our budget, etc.... Today is kind of busy for me but I like it! I'm just worried about the rest of the month lol! 

P.S. Here is my dog laying on my lap as I work away. Isn't he cute? His name is Teddy. And yes, he does sleep with his tongue sticking out!
