It has been awhile eh? I feel like the last few posts have been full of updates and apologies for not writing as frequently so, for the sake of keeping that unfortunate habit alive, I will again apologize for not posting and keeping you guys updated. You may be thinking that you really don't care (which makes sense because it's not like my posts are life changing) but I'm kind of mad at myself for not keeping up with it because it's something I really enjoy. I guess that's just how life is right? But we've gotta fight for the things we love!
So, here are a few updates of my life:
- I got a new job!!! I now work at Kaiser Permanente in Boulder, Co. It's only been 3 weeks but it's been awesome! Getting use to working full time has been hard on me and I wasn't sure I was liking the job at first BUT now that I've finally gotten the hang of most of it, I'm enjoying it. Especially the part where I get to hang out with old people and hear stories of their lives!
- David and I are going to Africa! We will be going in April with an organization called Waweza Movement (which my sister-in-law started). We will be visiting an orphanage in Kenya where we will be loving on kids and helping out where ever we can!
- We are just about to launch a video series called Demystifying Song Writing. My husband came up with this creative idea to raise money for Africa by gathering a handful of our awesome musician friends and have them each talk about different aspects of being a musician such as song writing, getting ready for the studio, and how to make music a career. It is going to be awesome so keep an eye out for that!
- Photography has kind of slowed down for me but I am still getting some shoots so I am still working on that! I am also working on videography as well as learning programs like Adobe Illustrator and Indesign. I am really looking forward to growing in my skills in all of these things!

P.S. Here are some photos from this last month:

Shovel Studios is the name of the studio where we filmed our new video series.
Here is David filming his part in the video series.
Here we are at Shovel Studios! Thanks to everyone who was apart! We feel so blessed and honored to have you as our friends!
