Day 25: 5 last books you read (or are reading).

Well hello there!

Hope you all had a great weekend! Man, now that this challenge is coming to an end (only 5 more days to go) it's kind of hard to finish strong which is funny because I've told you in a previous post that finishing stuff is a weakness of mine BUT I am determined to finish this challenge even if it takes a couple extra days! Any way, this post is to be about books. Honestly, I don't read books too much. I have to really like it in order to get into it but here are the books I've read most recently.

1. This Present Darkness by Frank E. Peretti- I've been reading this book for awhile and still on chapter 1 so I don't have much to say about it except that I've heard it's really good! I look forward to finishing it!

2. Robert Frost: Selected Poems- I discovered that I really enjoy poetry! I use to get frustrated with the fact that I didn't understand what they were talking about but sometimes it's nice to just listen to even when I don't know what it means. It really inspires me and gets my creative juices flowing!

3. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers- SUCH A GOOD BOOK! This book gives such a great picture of God's love for us! It's a modern day story of Hosea in the Bible. Some parts are somewhat explicit but you can easily skip them but it really makes the love of God tangible and understandable! Love this book!

4. The Final Quest by Rick Joyner- This book changed my life! It's about the greatest and last battle between light and darkness. Rick goes through a hard but necessary journey in this book that helped me in my practical walk with the Lord! It's super convicting(in a good way) and has helped me grow tremendously! I will recommend this book to everyone forever!

5. The BFG by Roald Dahl- I know this is kind of cheesy but as a kid this was one of my favorite books! I love books full of adventure where my mind can imagine and wonder and this was a good one for that! It's about a big friendly giant (aka BFG) who helps a little girls stop other giants from eating all the kids in England. So random but really fun!

So those are the most recent books that I've read/am reading! What books are you reading or what are some of your favorites?
